What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is Primary Care that is practiced under a different financial model. In short, the patient pays a low monthly fee directly to their Primary Care Physician. This results in the following benefits for you as the patient:
Better access to me, your physician. Are you tired of calling your clinic, leaving a message, and waiting extended periods of time for a response? When you join my practice you can call, text, or email me directly.
Labs and Medications at cost. Most patients and physicians are kept in the dark regarding the price of healthcare. Labs and medications are not nearly as expensive as insurance would have us believe. At Community Direct Care labs and medications are provided at cost. For instance - the price of a cholesterol panel is $6 and the price of common medications is often $4 or less.
More time with your doctor and less time waiting. No more waiting an hour to see your physician for 10 minutes. Having fewer total patients means having more time for each of them individually. I will make the most of your time while providing more attentive care.
A better doctor patient relationship. More time with you means I get to know your medical issues better. That allows me to treat you more effectively. This often leads to better rapport and improved health outcomes.
